¿Qué es Learn English with TED Talks?
TED Talks Ideas worth spreading, es una organización que como su eslogan bien indica tiene la meta de hacer que ideas sobresalientes se expandan. TED Talks es una plataforma creada para compartir Conferencias de Influenciadores y Líderes que exponen temas tan interesantes como diversos en: Negocios, Tecnología, Liderazgo, Medio ambiente, Educación, etc.
IMAC Inglés Total y National Geographic Learning, ponemos en tus manos esta App con 40+ video-lecciones y Conferencias de estos Influenciadores y líderes con el fin de integrar estas habilidades a tu programa de Inglés.
¿Cómo Empiezo y cómo la Uso?
- Si has llegado a tu Nivel 12 el acceso es gratuito, como uno de los 13 beneficios que te damos en tu Programa “Benefits”. Activa tu acceso a la App en: imacinglestotal.com/benefits
- Si aún no has llegado a tu nivel 12, también puedes obtener la App con un costo adicional. Cómprala en la caja de tu Sucursal más cercana y sigue los siguientes pasos.
- Recibe un correo con las instrucciones para descargarla y accesar
- Revisa las fechas de los próximos talleres de Conversación con TED Talks en el Calendario de la siguiente página y asiste
- Importante:
- El Club se lleva a cabo el 1er y 3er Jueves de cada Mes
- Club de Conversación de 1 hora y media
- Indispensable que hayas visto y hecho los ejercicios de la Video-lección de ese día. A continuación lee la sección de “Instructions”
- Opción a) Matutino: 9:00 am a 10:30 am
- Opción b) Vespertino: 5:15 pm – 6:45 pm y 7:15 pm – 8:45 pm

- El acceso gratuito para nuestros alumnos que han llegado al Nivel 12 esta es 1 de las 13 poderosas razones por las que nunca dejarás de estudiar con nosotros, gracias nuestro Programa “Benefits”

Instructions: 10 steps to get ready for your Conversation Club with TED Talks
- Go to www.imacinglestotal.com/benefits become a member of the Benefits program and select TED Talks App in order to receive an access code.
- Once you have your access code, go to ngl.cengage.com/digitalaccess
- Click Start to create your NGL Digital Access account.
- Enter your Access Code.
- Enter your email and create a password. NOTE: Make sure to save your password because you will need it to sign into the app.
- Follow the instructions to install the app on your phone. These instructions will also be sent to the email you provided. Upon entering, you will have the following 4 options, select according to your current English course:
- Pre-Intermediate: level 12
- Intermediate: level 13 to 16
- Upper intermediate: level 17 to 20
- Advanced: level 21 to 22
- Go to our Calendar and look for the date of the TED Talk live session you wish to attend. A TED Talk will be also assigned by your teacher as homework every time you attend.
- Follow and complete all the activities for that TED Talk. These are the different sections you would normally complete for every TED Talk:

- Before you Watch: Communication
- Watch (the Talk)
- After you Watch: Comprehension

- Go to the front desk and register in the pertinent list 3 days before the scheduled talk.
